I am trying really hard not to start any new quilt designs this month so I thought I would bring in some of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks and put them up on the design wall in my sewing room.
Yes, it is time to finish up this garden quilt!
I am sure some blocks will get moved around a bit. I still need some purple blocks and I have plans for a few brown and gray items.
I actually love the process of putting all these odd sized blocks all together. My plan is to just use low volume scraps for the background. I am trying to decide if I want to fill some of those negative spaces with colorful scrap bits. I guess I will know the answer once I start sewing.
This should keep me out of trouble for a few afternoons :)

I'm excited to see how you'll join those together! I put my scrappy sprouts quilt up on the design wall today and tried to work on my idea for the sky above, and I don't like it... at least not yet. I'm hoping some inspiration will come! Have fun playing with your scrappy background!
Isn’t this going to be awesome? Have lots of fun playing around with it and getting it together!
It's looking great. Thanks for sharing the process with us all...your creativity amazes me.
What a fun quilt this will be!! I love all of the blocks! Are they from a particular pattern or book? Or did you design them yourself?!
Yay! I can't wait to see this after it's all 'puzzled' together! I know you say you aren't going to start new quilt designs...but the month is young! ;)
I can’t wait to see how this turns out! I love it ! Putting different sized blocks together is challenging but fun too. Kind of like a puzzle.
how about little scrap bits that look like butterflies?
Looking good! Pinwheels always look great with any flower-garden-outdoor design...a few here and there might look nice! :-)
It's going to be fun to see what extra blocks you come up, looking forward to seeing the finished top.
Going to be a very cute quilt!!!
So fun! I love the puzzling together of the different sizes, too. Good brain workout :)
This is wonderful - those carrots are still my fave.
Oh, goodie, I've been looking forward to seeing all these blocks come together! Can't wait to see what you decide to do with them. Actually, you work so fast and I'm so behind on reading blogs that you may be done already :)
