A Covered In Love Finish

I have finished the sixth Covered in Love quilt.  For this layout, I made an offset barn raising design.   I really like how it turned out - so far it is probably a favorite of mine.

There is a surprise on the back.  Kat had sent me a purple and yellow sunflower panel fabric.  I framed it with some yellow bees and added in some solid brown and purple.

I still have one more quilt to finish.  So far I have made six different layout designs from these donated blocks.  I hope to share the last one next Friday!

A big thanks to all who donated blocks.  If you want the tutorial for the block, you can find it here.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I love the offset! The tutorial looks pretty easy, it's the layout that I will have to think about, so I'll just save your post for reference!

You have made six very distinct quilts! I'm waiting to see all the finished quilts together before I make my choice of favorite layout!!

That is really pretty! I was just about to ask you if you had a favorite, and then I went back and re-read what you said about it! :) I've loved every one you've made.

I agree with everyone else and will look forward to seeing them all together. Kudos for exploring so many layouts. You must have had a ton of blocks in order to make so many related quilts. What size they are?

Amazing what can be done with a diagonal block!

I love that loopy squares quilting motif. It doesn't flow easily from my own hands. Do you have any tips for stitching it? Do you chant a mantra like "One two three aaaaand left...1 2 3 aaaaand right"? :)

This one is certainly a beauty, Cynthia!! It's how I envisioned making a whole quilt from a new set blocks from this fun block. Thanks for proving that it's a great setting! You have been SEW very kind to help Kat in this way.

Perfect in every way!

What a fun design layout! And with the pieces the size they are, it seems like it wouldn't take forever to put the blocks together. Very nice!

Your creativity knows no bounds. Thanks for your commitment to helping Kat put these CiL quilts together. I just cut the pieces for the March/April blocks to sew as leaders and enders with a QAL I'm finishing.

What a great finish. The lovely back makes it a two for one quilt.
