Oh Scrap! : Loose Ends

With the end of February coming up fast, I spent the last week cleaning up some of my scrap projects and making sure I had all my yellow blocks completed.

I did get my little blocks completed for the RSC Full Stop sampler quilt.  I am not sure yet how I am going to put all the blocks together so I only made a few of these.

I also sewed together the next set of blocks for Covered in Love.  I plan on loading it next on my longarm.  Now I will start to sew together all the red, white and blue stars.

I also dug out this old UFO.  Remember this?  I was thinking I needed some yellow blocks but I think I am just going to limit the colors to just those I have already sewn.  At this point, I think I just need to focus on making the tiniest blocks - the circle finishes at 5" for those!  I was happy to see green is the color for March.  That means I can make some more progress on this one...

I hope you hare having a Scrappy Weekend!

Lots of scraps flying around your studio, Cynthia! Thanks for the reminder that I still want to try that version of Angela's Quotation marks. Off to the studio to sew...

This WIP shows how very versatile the log cabin block can be. I can't believe how small the circles are at 5".

The danger of following this scrappy link party each week is that I see things like your fabulous Full Stop blocks and realize that NO scrap is too small to save! My scrap bins are so full that I can barely close them but I'm saving more and more little slivers and crumbs!

Are those yellow quotation marks? Your creativity always amazes me!

You've reminded me of so many things! I picked up so many potential RSC projects, I forgot about "Full Stop". Since I'm behind on my colors so maybe when I catch up I can add those in. And is this a new CiL block? Have to check that out too!
