Oh Scrap! : Scrappy Design Walls

I am continuing to surf along the wave of finishing momentum.

I only finished two scrappy blocks this week.  I have had these blocks cut and just waiting by my sewing machine for months.

I did move the completed blocks for this RSC quilt into my sewing room.  Now I can identify what additional colors I need.  I know I want a couple brown, at least one more yellow and another blue.  Then I will see what I think.

What I have been focusing on this week is finishing up this pinwheel quilt top.  It is hard to see but I have been working on attaching all the low volume sashing between the blocks.  Hard to believe all the pinwheels are made with bonus HSTs from trimmed corners.

After I get these quilt tops finished, I still have one more RSC project for 2020.  I think that one needs 12 more blocks....Looks like I will be finishing them all up before the end of the year!

Now I am ready to see what you are working on!

  6. Getting all of your RSC quilts together by the end of the year is a big win! That they are gorgeous is a bonus. I love your scrappy rectangles at the top. Maybe add a lavender and another aqua for some brightness? Have fun finishing up!
