I finally get to share my project from Kelly Young's (My Quilt Infatuation) second quilting book called Scrappy Improv Quilting.
As a scrappy quilter, I was so pleased to see that this book is filled with some fun ways to use up those bits every quilter has. And if you have never done Improv before, Kelly makes the process super easy to be successful.
My plan is to hang it in my sewing room once I get a chance to reorganize all the existing minis in there. I really love how colorful it turned out.
Kelly (My Quilt Infatuation) has been sharing each mini she made from her book over on her blog. I highly suggest you go check it out - each of them are so pretty.
The Scrappy Improv Quilting Blog Tour has been going on since September. If you want to see some of the other projects that have been shared, please visit the below blogs.
10/20- Sweet Bee (a bonus thank-you pattern), Finishing, and Wrap-Up
Signed copies of Scrappy Improv Quilting are available in Kelly's Etsy Shop.

Nicely done!
LOVE it!!! Of course I love Churns - and this one is so cool!
Yes, that is a wonderful mini. Your colors look great.
I love your color choice! What a fun idea!
I really like that you used three different colors for your churn dashes. And the binding is great, I really like how the print gives it a feel of being a bit scrappy, too.
Super cute variation of Kelly's design, Cynthia! I might not have thought to make the mini in multiple colors.
I love how that turned out! The different colors in each churn dash really appeal to me, and I love the background fabric. It will be fun to have that one hanging on your mini wall!
OK I now have an ear worm, "To everything, churn, churn, churn, there is a season, churn churn churn... and a time to every purpose under heaven." Your turn! Great job!
