Oh Scrap! : RSC Blocks

I finally found some time this week to start sewing up my yellow scraps for my RSC blocks.  I don't really have a lot of yellow scraps so I spent a lot of time sorting my scraps into little piles that were the right size for each of my blocks.

Then I cut all the necessary bits to size.  Now I can easily sew them up!

I finished one more of my RSC Two Bit blocks.

I already have three yellow blocks from last year so just one is needed.

I also need a total of eight of my Bloom blocks in yellow.  I have them all cut out but I was only able to sew up two of them.  I still really love making these blocks!

Did you do any scrap quilting this week?

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Quilting is more fun than Housework

Oh yes, Cynthia. I certainly did some scrappy sewing this week - I had to. I am surprised that you are up so early on Sunday morning, especially with today being the first day of Daylight Savings. Have a great Sunday!

I really like your fabric choices and the first block, but of course I also like the baskets. There is something about a basket block. I used to weave appalachan baskets from reeds too
