I scheduled some sewing time this weekend but with the sun shining and the scent of lilacs in the breeze, I am finding it really hard to stay indoors.
I did get three more of my RSC Two Bits Blocks done. The quilt needed some orange blocks. I now have just two more blocks to complete and I can finish this one up. I am planning for this quilt to be one of my Hands2Help donations.
While I was in my orange scrap bin, I also cut a bunch of parts for my switch plate blocks. (Thanks for the name Kathleen). I am just sewing these as a leader/ender project. Finishing at just 3x5", I am going to need ALOT for a quilt.
Maybe I can sew a few more scraps at the end of the weekend....

Your Two Bits blocks are fun in orange! I'll enjoy seeing all of those blocks together. "Switch Plate" is a great name for the little stripey blocks, too! Some people are really good at naming quilts - that is not my strength. :) Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!
Love all your blocks but enjoying these Switchplate fabrics very much. How kind you are to donate your quilts too, Cynthia.
Switch plate--the perfect name! Great blocks, and cute scraps!
Thank goodness you said the blocks were orange because I thought I had issues with the monitor, hahaha. Love your blocks. Switchplate is a good name. I first thought they looked like tissue boxes. Enjoy the outdoor. ;^)
Great inspiration for more scrappy sewing!
ha ha switch plate blocks!! Love it - I've heard people call them kleenex box blocks - but I like Switch plate better!
LOVE those Churn Blocks - too cute!!
Enjoy Spring!!!!
Super cute scrappy blocks, Cynthia, and I spy some bits of PINK in those orange blocks! :o))
Switch plate blocks - what a perfect name for them! I hope you spent a lot of time outside enjoying the lilacs. :)
Switch plate is a clever name for a neat block.
