Oh Scrap! : Happy May!

The scraps have been flying this week but I don't have a lot that I am ready to share with you today.  I pulled a bunch more orphan blocks for my placemat project and have about six that just need quilting.  And I have been working on the quilts for the next Scrap Mixology Module I hope to publish next month.

I did finish the last two blocks I need for my Two Bit quilt.  Now I can start sewing up the quilt top and get it off my design wall.  I am planning for this quilt to be one of my Hands2Help donations so I want to get it finished soon.

I also added four little switch plate blocks to my collection.  I am looking forward to pulling more scraps in May's RSC color.  It is going to a lot of these little blocks to make a quilt!

I hope you share what scrappy blocks you are working on....

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Love those Switchplates! Yes, it will take a lot of little blocks to make a quilt but those quilts with so many little scraps make for the most wonderful quilts. And I think I'll be starting some soon! Thanks for the inspiration!

It's always fun to see what great scraps you have! I might have to make some switch plate blocks. BTW I loved your kitchen quilt from Friday's post. Gorgeous colors, amazing paper piecing!

Love the blocks you're showing today! It will be fun to see how the H2H quilt turns out. Looking forward to your next Scrap Mixology module, too. I just realized I started Well Suited awhile ago, and never finished it. Time to get on that! Happy Sunday!
