Oh Scrap! : 2.5" Strips

The flannel scraps have been put away for a bit.  I have another project I need to get working on.

We have a number of patriotic scraps that need some attention.  I have been busy cutting them into 2.5" strips.  I am also including any red, blue and white prints I have in our scrap storage.

I am also chopping them up into 11" long pieces.  I will let you guys know soon what we are using these for.  I just need to get a few more details before I make an announcement.  I also need to make a few more samples.  But right now, it is cut, cut, CUT!

Thanks for sharing your scrapy projects!

Looks like you've made good progress on cutting the strips. That's one of my least liked chores, cutting up the fabric scraps into something usable.

A new project can be exciting! Sounds like you've got an idea brewing - I'll enjoy seeing what you're making. Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!

That is quite the pile of patriotic fabric chunks to "process!" I look forward to your reveal of the plan for the 11 inch strips.

I'm interested in seeing what you do with 11" patriotic strips. I am working on a patriotic quilt right now, but have a lot of leftover patriotic bits.

Just a quick question about the black/white prints for the block collection. Do you want us to try to stay with true white? I have a white with black print that I love, but the white is more ivory than white. Is that okay?
