Oh Scrap! : Teddy Bears

I have no idea where this week went.    I know I quilted up a lot of quilts for Many Hands and Many Hearts.  There were lots of labels to sew on and bindings to finish.  MHMH also received a lot of packages this week, so I spent a lot of time organizing all of that.

But I didn't spend a lot of time playing with any scraps!

I recently joined one of the local quilt guilds.  Some of my longtime friends work the Community Service table so it was natural for me to join that team.  At our last guild meeting, I was asked to prep up a bunch of the teddy bears we make and donate.   Ummm.....Sure!

So, this week was spent hand sewing on eyes and hearts.  Next week, I should be able to sew the fronts and backs together.  I only have to make them into "bear skins" - they will be stuffed and completed at our next guild meeting.  Hopefully then I can get back to my scrappy projects!
