Oh Scrap! : Finishes

I am writing this post quite a bit ahead of time.  I am taking a quick trip to see my two sisters and an aunt/uncle I haven't seen in many years.  In fact, by the time you read this, I will probably be back.  I'm a bit torn - I am looking forward to seeing everyone, but I am sure going to miss my boi Arthur.  We haven't been apart in over two years!

I am wwaaayyy behind in sharing finishes so I thought I would do that in this post.

Check it out - a finished quilt from our Color Block Star block drive.  I recently had all these blocks sorted by color and local volunteer Sophia sewed up a bunch of quilt tops from them so hopefully these will be going out to longarmers soon to get quilted.  The fun fabric on the back was donated by Kristin.

Speaking of Kristin - she sent us this sweet little flannel top and backing.  I am pretty sure she used up some scraps on this one.  She had sent in a bunch of other larger tops using these fabrics.  I love it when I see someone using every little bit!

Local volunteer Cindy quilted it and my neighbor sewed on the binding for me.

This simple pattern is just HSTs made from bright florals and white fabric.  I love the zigzag effect.  Kristin sent in this quilt top and backing too.  The backing is this really fun batik circles.

I might have already shown you this little finish.  I can't find it on my quilt list and it has already been delivered so I am going by memory.  I think this is another "kit" sent in by Kristin. I know it is all flannel and just a simple patchwork design.  Super easy but super cute!

Those of you who get the Many Hands and Many Hearts newsletter, it is hopefully going out next Friday.  I just couldn't get everything done before I left.

Now it is your turn to link up....
