Oh Scrap! : Zig Zag Scrap-A-Palooza Quilts

One of the things that brightens my day are when I receive emails with quilts I have inspired either through one of my patterns or through the Scrap-A-Palooza series.  Recently I received an email from one of my readers who shared some quilts I just had to share with you!

These beauties were all made using the Scrap-A-Palooza Zig Zag quilt block.

Here is one with a lovely blue background.  And to top it off, all of these quilts were lovingly hand quilted.

Here is another one with a pretty green in the background.  It was also shared that these are all being donated to Project Linus.  How sweet is that!

And to mix it up a bit, she made one in this layout too.  Same block, just laid out horizontally.  I love it!

Thanks so much to this quilter and all of you who take the time to share what you make!

Those did turn out great! It was fun to go back and reread your post about the original design. Reminded me that I want to sort and figure out a new storage system for my 2.5 inch squares. Better get to work!

What a fun quilt pattern - one of the best I've seen for using up scraps and great for children.

Love seeing the variety with one simple block! Just last night at the guild meeting an older lady came to me asking about this zig zag quilt I made in blue and green! I told her to google Scrap-a-Palooza and Quilting is More Fun Than Housework (because, I told her it really is) so hopefully she can get it at the library as her dial-up connection just takes too long at home...cannot believe people who are in the country still have to put up with dial-up...but that's another story!
