Today is the day I finally get to share a quilt I have been keeping a secret for a really long time! It is called Pretty Gemstones and you can find it in the soon to be released January/February 2016 issue of McCall's Quilting.
Quite a few of my favorite scraps went into this quilt. I love how they look with the Robert Kaufman Essex Yarn Dyed fabric for the background.

This quilt reminds me of a jeweler's display of colored gemstone rings. So many yummy colors, it is hard to pick a favorite!

If you subscribe to the magazine, you might already have received your copy in your mailbox. The issue will be available in stores by November 24th - just in time to pick it up while you are out holiday shopping. It is fun to sew and I hope you give it a try. I would love to see what you come up with!
