Hello all you scrappy quilters! I think Sunday is my favorite day of the week. There is always so much scrappy goodness to oooh and aaah over.
Over the last week, I did finish up my pinwheel block for my Rainbow Scrap Column along quilt. My teal scraps were either really dark or very turquoise so it was a challenge to get the graduated shades I wanted. It is definitely time to add a few light shades of teal to my stash.
This fall, when I start to put together the top, I may kick a few of these blocks out and remake them in softer colors.

But for now, I am just going to tuck them away with all of the other finished blocks. It is awfully tempting to get these out and play with them!

I think you did a GREAT job of showing the depth and breadth of your TEAL scrap stash!! These may be my favorite blocks yet. Of course, I do have somewhat of an affinity for the color of the ocean! Beautiful.
I love the gradation of colors in your blocks--beautiful!
I've come to love aqua these days. And your blocks are great.
Your pinwheels are really pretty! I could see making a whole quilt out of that block!
It's a nice find when you notice a gap, so that you have an excuse to buy more fabric. I'm stocking up on solids, which have been in short supply here. Any excuse, right? I'm up to my ears in pinwheels, hope to show next week.
That is a really great bunch of teal and aqua blocks -- I like that you arranged them from dark to light!
love those teal pinwheels.
Very pretty pinwheels!
Those are some of my favorite colors. I recently folded and organized all my yard or more pieces of fabric and can definitely see some color holes that need to be filled! :) Any excuse to look for fabric, right??
Have fun shopping for lighter teals. Your blocks look great!
