Okay, so I didn't do 365 circles but I did sew little circles for over 6 months!
I finally got this one all quilted up and bound. It has been a bit warm still in the evenings so the hand sewing took longer than usual.
It is certainly filled with a lot of fun fabric scraps. A big thanks to QuiltyFolk for thinking up this idea. And kudos to all those who are still making daily squares!

I decided to donate this one to a kids' charity so I used some bright novelty fabric on the back.
I wanted this quilt to be very durable so I quilted the entire top with all different sizes of squared spirals. I quilted right over the applique and did all the quilting in a navy colored thread.
Finishing this quilt was my July OMG goal with Red Letter Quilts. It is the last Friday of the month so I am just squeaking by!

Wow, the circles are beautiful. I am still working on mastering straight pieces, circles are way off in my future.
I'm just finishing up my first year of quilting and have decided it is time for a new machine, (the 1978 Kenmore is ready to retire). Can you tell me what is your go to machine?
It's a great setting and a happy quilt. I love that you quilted over the applique' so that it would last in the hands of a child. Yay!
Putting together 365 circles is quite a commitment; I love how you finished your quilt and some child will certainly enjoy your work.

Mine is a six-month project as well - and ready for quilting. I really really like the idea of the spiraled squares but as a new sit down FMQ person, I have a couple of questions about how you did the quilting. Stand up or sit down? Marked, stencil, panto, or FM? Thanks!
