Oh Scrap! : More Tumblers

I tried to resist the temptation but when a quilt is in your head, you have to get it into fabric!

I have been setting aside some larger black and white fabric scraps and this weekend I got to cutting them up on my fabric cutter (along with some pretty reds). I am not sure I would make a tumbler quilt without it!

Hopefully I will find some time this week to work on a layout.

And I should mention that this Friday I am hosting TGIFF.
So you have a whole week to get a project finished so you can link up!
I would love to see you there  :)

What about you!  What scrappy projects are you working on. Here are the details for linking up:
  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with those tumbler blocks, Cynthia. I have the same die cut with my Go Baby, but haven't used that die yet. I'm just not crazy about the tumbler quilt design...yet!

Hmmm.... I need to figure out what I will finish this week and come back on Friday. Knowing your speed, you will have that tumbler pieced, basted, quilted and bound by then!😊

Your accuquilt cutter must be so handy! I finally got a tumbler template for cutting pieces out of my scraps. That will be another project to add to my list! Looking forward to being inspired by your tumblers! Hope Pete has been working hard for you this week!

Love the black and white, plus red. Haven't tried tumblers before. Have you made them without the die cutter?
