Hurray! With the arrival of fall comes the Blogger's Quilt Festival.
I love this event - especially when it takes place in blogland and not Instagram. I really enjoy reading the stories about so many amazing quilts all made by very talented quilters. During the event, I always find new blogs to follow and meet some amazing new friends!
Welcome to all of you visiting and I am so happy to be participating again this year!

I decided to include my newest pattern - Bamboo Shoots - in the Original Design category. This quilt was made using Robert Kaufman's Quilter's Linen in three different colors.
I really liked the fresh green with the tan and the brown.
Before I released the pattern, I did a pattern test using some Kaffe Fassett prints with a rich eggplant background. This one is a more colorful version of a great design - perfect for a beginner or seasoned quilter.
I will be entering another quilt in the scrappy category (of
course). It is the last Scrap-A-Palooza quilt I made using the tumbler shape. Remember, links to all of my Scrap-A-Palooza quilts are always available if you are looking for inspiration for using those scraps!
The event will run September 19th through September 31st. Check out AmysCreativeSide to view all the beautiful quilts linked up. There are lots of categories filled with inspiration!

This is a great pattern. Good luck.
Wonderful, fresh-looking quilt.
Love your bamboo shoots quilt! Looks so earthy and calm.
I love that you were able to photograph it next to some bamboo!!! :)
Quilter's linen...I must find me some of that. Love the bamboo look it is so fresh. Heck all your quilts are like a fresh breath of air.
Super pattern, looks wonderful in both colorways, good luck!!!
A perfect choice for the festival!
This is such a nice pattern - clean lines and not terribly complicated. Good luck with the contest!!
That's a great pattern Cyndy! Very modern and refreshing.
Beautiful quilt! I love the bamboo feeling colors, too!
This is a lovely pattern. I especially like the green and tan quilt - and there not usually colours I would chose.
What a fun pattern. It always fun to see how a pattern changes when you change the fabrics. Beauties, both of them.
Your quilts are great and I especially like the name-Bamboo Shoots-fitting!
