Oh Scrap! : 9 Patches

This weekend, between the wind, hail and downpours of rain, I have been working on getting my vegetable gardens ready to plant.  So not too much time in my sewing room.

But I did get my four multi-colored 9 patches sewn up.

So when I add them to previous months' blocks (red, aqua and purple), I have 16 blocks completed.  Still not sure what I am going to do with them there is still lots of time to figure that out.

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:
  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

  1. There is plenty of time to figure out your nine patch design. For now its time to hoe the garden!!

  2. you made beautiful multicolored nines. They are cute.

  3. I really like your MULTICOLORED 9-Patch blocks!! They don't really seem as bright or as bold as my own scraps do. Yours will slip right into a cohesive quilt top with the blocks already on the go. Mine appear fairly determined to become a quilt all their own!

  4. Such an eclectic mix of fabrics will result in an extraordinary quilt! I wish I could be a fly on your studio wall :-)

  5. Your brights make fun and interesting blocks! I think I have some of that white with the black flowers in my stash, too!

  6. Gorgeous fabrics make gorgeous nine patches!
I've been making a few nine patches at a time, with a Jack's Chain in the Someday corner of my mind. 8)

  7. Nine patches are so versatile....looking forward to seeing how they end.

  8. Pretty patch blocks. I am sure you finish the perfect layout for them.

  9. Lots of fun fabrics in your 9 patches.

  10. Loving all of those fun bright prints!

  11. Such cute and lively 9-patches. They would be fun in a Project Linus quilt.

  12. Lovely fabrics in these blocks, they're going to look good playing with all the others!

  13. Lovely fabrics and neat nine patches. An achievement in any book.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading each and every one and try to respond with an email.
