I love it when my quilts come entirely from my scrap bins. And I am also happy when a quilt design cleans out my scrap bins of pesky small bits.
But I thought I was never going to get this quilt top together!
When I woke up this morning, I was determined to get this top together before I accomplished any thing else. So many small pieces in this one!
While I was on a roll, I also pulled some fabric and sewed up the backing. Now I just have to sneak it onto my longarm frame.
(You can just barely see my new ironing board cover in this photo. I just pulled some unwanted fabric from my stash and ended up with this brown dot - it makes my board look like it has some sort of horrible pox. It makes me giggle every time I use it.)
I now have an empty design wall to use for an older UFO. I am torn between my Sew Kitschy wall-hanging and my Kaffe Splendid Sampler. Cheer for your favorite in the comments below!

Sew Kitschy --- is my favourite. Not really a fan of KAFFE.
What a fun way to put those blocks together! I always love your ideas for scrap quilts - especially using the low volume scraps for the background. That always appeals to me!

Congratulations on the finish,and perfect backing. I can’t decide on Kaffe Fassett or Kitchen. They are both charming. The wallhanging would probably go faster, so why not get that done first?

What project next? My personal favorite is the Kaffe! But they are both really fun. I hadn't seen that Kitchy project before. Either one is worthy of your time. We'll just all watch and see what you pick and ooo and ahhh over it just like always. :)

Great use of crumb blocks! I'm accumulating a small stack of them myself. Aren't they fun to make? Mindless and meditative :)

I am so jealous you cleaned out a scrap bin!! I don't think I will ever be able to do that. But I hope to make at least one scrappy one next year:) I have missed that this year. I think your guilt is wonderful and glad you were able to buckle down and get it pieced. Happy December.
Definitely Kaffe! Your finish is adorable!!!! I also love quilts made from the scrap bag. After many years of quilting, I have a healthy selection of colors - so much fun.

My vote goes to the Kitschy Kitchen quilt. Blocks are finished so it just needs sashing and borders to have a flimsy!

Lovely quilt design! And a double win with the use of scraps. Enjoy your finish! - Your "new" projects are very different, so just pick what you currently like more. Or roll a die if you have the same problem as me with picking one :)
Wow you know how to get it done even if it took a while. I would love to get to the bottom of my scrap pile but it just doesn't seem possible. I also need to get down to the last layer of my design wall(s) so I can work to finish a few more things and actually see what I am doing. Great job on this finish.
