Did you see the little heart block I designed for the RSC Tiny Tuesday Sampler?
Even though I am not participating in the quilt-along, I did make a handful of heart blocks as I wrote the tutorial. So I decided to use them in a quick little project.
I made five little hearts from a red chunk of fabric I had in my scrap bin.
I decided to scatter them across a fun little Valentine's Day table runner.
I think it turned out pretty cute and festive.
I had a fun red and white fabric for the backing and the plaid binding was left over from a previous project. There was just enough so it was meant to be!
I know there are a few other quilters using my little heart block for some little projects -
I can't wait to see them!

That is cute! I love the way you set the hearts going all different directions. I'll have a heart project to share for Oh Scrap on Sunday! :)
Gotta love a festive little project!!
How cute. It's simple, but it's very effective with the hearts going all different directions.
What a sweet little runner. Love how it turned out.
Adorable! Runners are so much fun to make! When I want a quick project to make I often turn to a table runner. Plus the size makes quilting fast and fun!
Awww... So sweet!
This is super sweet! Love the tumbling hearts!
