A new month means a new Rainbow Scrap Challenge color.
February is the color Yellow!
First up, I made two quarter log cabin blocks. I decided to use mostly golds as they looked best with the more muted blocks I have finished to date.
And I also sewed up two of my zigzag blocks - one in golds and one in bright yellow.
I need only six more blocks to have enough for this donation quilt. I have identified which colors I still need so its completion just depends on the when the appropriate colors are called. (Or I may just sew them up just so I can start something new!)
I still have my garden quilt blocks to finish this month but I just didn't find time tis week to work on them. Hopefully by next Sunday they will be finished.

The gold fabrics look great with your black and white 9 patches! You've made me curious about what colors you still need! Looking forward to seeing how you lay this one out. Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!

I'm not a huge gold fan, but I love the log cabin blocks with the black and white center squares! I'm anxious to see how they all come together!
I love the quarter log cabin in gold; I love the fact the "logs" are not the same size. They look great. ;^)
Your fun YELLOW blocks added sunshine to my day. LOVE them all!!!
I just love the black 9 patches in your golden block.
So sweet quarter log cabins. Great idea with those nine patch blocks.
Beautiful yellows and golds, the quarter log cabins I love with the black and while chequerboard.
I love all the yellow fabric. The log cabin blocks, is the whole quilt going to be a log cabin? Thank you for the linky party.
I love the black/white 9-patch quarter log cabin blocks. I can't wait to see how those will all go together.
I really like the log cabin blocks with the black and white 9 patches. That's going to be a really cool quilt.
