Some Stash Busting

I have decided to focus on using up some of my older stash this summer.
So I gathered up a bunch of Parsons Gray fabric and loaded my 6.5" Tumbler die into my AccuQuilt cutter and in no time had a stack of pieces ready to lay out.

I am not sure yet on the design - I had only a quarter yard of some pieces and more than a yard of others.  I will have to play with them to see what I come up with.

I also decided to cut up some old numbers fabric into 2.5" squares.  I pulled some odds and ends solids that coordinate nicely and quickly created a framed nine patch block.  I like to have baby quilts on hand and I am down to only a couple.
I thought this might make a nice gender neutral project.

I still have quite a few stacks of blocks that need to be sewn into a top and quilted.  I am working though those as a design wall opens up.

Right now, there is no shortage of work in my sewing room!

Good idea...I am in the process of re-organizing (AGAIN) my stash and
deciding what to DNF and what to finish up...hugs, Julierose

Seems to me like the Parsons Gray line came out just recently. But I'm pretty out of the loop on fabric lines, I guess! I really like the bright solids surrounding the black numbers fabric...so cute and happy :)

I have those three fabrics to the right! I thought maybe you sneaked into my stash when I wasn't looking, lol.

Having completed a black white and colored quilt recently, I really enjoyed the bright contrasty fabrics to work with. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

j'aime beaucoup l'idée de la courtepointe de bébé avec l'alphabet!

Wish I'd have gone with the 6.5" tumbler when I first bought my die, the 3.5" is too small, at least for my KF fabrics.

Using up some old stash sounds like a great plan for the summer! Best of luck in your quest. I can already tell that the Numbers quilt is going to be SEW cute!!

Good for you using up stash. I'm trying to do the same. If only someone would come in a cut it all up for me. I get bogged down in unfolding it all and cutting. Seems there's always some left to fold and put away. I swear it just replicates itself?
