Oh Scrap! : RSC Blocks

I finally found some time to sew some of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks for the month.

I finished up my pretty Scrap Mixology Bloom blocks in aqua/teal.
I love each and every one of these blocks I make!

I made a total of four in some darker teal scraps.  And four more in slightly lighter shades of aqua.

They are now up on my design wall with the red blocks from January.  I am looking forward to seeing this one come together!

I don't have to make any of my Scrap Mixology Chaser blocks in February because the test blocks I made for this quilt at the end of last year were in shades of turquoise.  Here are how the red, orange and aqua ones look all together.

I still have a couple more RSC blocks to finish before the end of February.  Hopefully I will have them done by next Sunday - I hate falling behind!

Happy Sunday!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Are you trying to improve your free motion quilting skills?  I saw a great product on Connecting Threads.  They have marked panels that you can follow.  When I was learning, I spent hours making my own.  These are brilliant!
