Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
Time to get out one of my favorite scrappy quilts.
I still have a few more pink blocks to make for this year's RSC projects.
I have two paper pieced letters I need to make for my booth banner. I finished my letter A. The other letter I have to do is the letter S - having already made one in yellow and knowing how hard it was, I decided I needed to procrastinate...
So I started something new!
These will finish at 3 x 5". All of the pieces for the block are cut a 1.5" x 3.5".
Here are what I have done so far. I calculated that I will need about 30 blocks of each of the colors.
I have a feeling that this project will run for a few years!
I am hoping this project will help me clean out a lot of the narrow strings in my scrap bins!
What scrappy things have you worked on this week!

3 by 5 finished??? Oh Cynthia, that is punishing. And to go on for a few years? You have the patience of Mother Earth. Kudos to you!!! And a Happy Easter to you and yours :-)
I love your scrappy bunny quilt, I don't remember ever seeing it, thanks for sharing! Happy Easter.
Love the bunny quilt! And cute new blocks! Good luck with the paper pieced letter S.
Happy Pink blocks this week.
The bunny quilt is so pretty.
Happy Sunday, Cynthia.
I love that bunny quilt! And your new blocks, too. How neat that they take all the same strip perfect for a leader/ender project. Happy Easter to you!
Cute bunny quilt and today is the perfect day to get it out! Every one of your letter blocks is terrific. I would think that each one would be challenging to get just right!
That's a cute bunny quilt. Lots of scraps in there. Love it! "I decided I need to procrastinate" made me laugh out loud, literally! I'm sure I will repeat that phrase often, haha. Interesting new project. Have fun! Oh! and good luck with the "S". It will probably be easier now that you've acquired some experience with the first one. ;^)
ROFL!! I guess that answers the question of how long you can last without starting a new project, doesn't it?! :P
I like that new block and will probably add that to my list. I was looking for one more block that uses 1.5 inch strips so I can justify cutting a 1.5 strip off of a scrap chunk. This will make block 3 and will probably take me years to complete all three quilts but so it goes. Sometimes that's the nature of wonderfully scrappy quilts.
The bunny quilt is adorable! And I’m really liking your “procrastination” blocks.
The scrappy bunny!!! I LOVE him ( or her) !!!
Was there a pattern for the bunny quilt or did you work it out yourself? Very cute. Your new project should keep you busy for a while until you decide you just want to get it done. We are having decidedly unspring-like weather and I've had enough of it.
Pat
Those tiny blocks look like so much fun.
I love the tiny block project. First thing I thought of when I saw the block is switch plates!
