What is the saying? "The Busier I am, the more Behind I feel!" (Or something to that effect.)
It was another busy week and I don't have a lot of things to share today.
I did finish four more blocks for my Mercyful quilt. I also have about 6 more blocks cut out and just waiting to be sewn in green and blue.
Here is my progress so far. I STILL haven't gotten out my purple scraps but I am sure I will be able to find lots of large scraps in that color for more blocks.
I did finish my last two blue placemat tops. I am hoping to quilt them up today sometime. I can then focus on making some in purple while the purple bin is out.
I am just juggling too many projects right now!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps. Here are the details for linking up:
- This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
- You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
- If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
- If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
- This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
- Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

I was under the impression that Juggle is your middle name :-D I understand the "too many things" all the time syndrome. Yesterday I sent Paul on a mission to fetch me a chair so that I could sew all day. And now that I have a more comfy chair I will be sewing all day long :-D
Loving your blocks.
Beautiful blocks! I think we're all time-stressed, there's so much to do! But I've noticed that quilters are seldom bored. It will all get done eventually.
You have a fabulous group of blocks going there, Cynthia!!! Don't worry about purple--we're just barely halfway through July. There's still plenty of time.
I think feeling behind on all of your projects just makes you normal, like the rest of us! Love the greens of your Positivity blocks, and the scrappy backgrounds, too. Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!
I always heard it "the busier I am, the behinder I get."
Those Merciful blocks look even better with the additional blocks. You are truly amazing and such an inspiration to me. There are times that I feel like you too so you aren't alone. Looking forward to your next post. . . .!!!!!
Beautiful blocks for your Positivity
Quilt, Cynthia!
Have a nice week.
Hi,
Beautiful blocks...love all those pretty
colors. Have a great day!
"The hurrieder I go, the behinder I get."
Yeah, we're all juggling these days, aren't we? I'm starting to think that Chaos may be my new BFF...
I get it. Life only gives us so many hours in the day. Use some of them to relax - at least a tiny bit. :-)
The blocks you've made, when paired with the ones you are going to add, will make a lovely quilt for a wonderful cause!
My recollection of the saying is 'the hurrier I go the behinder I get'
