Oh Scrap! : Last Chaser Blocks

It looks like fall is finally coming to the PNW.  Temperatures are still a bit warm during the night, but the nights are cold and the leaves are slowly changing colors.  So a lot of my time this week has been spent doing outdoor chores.

I did get the final ten Chaser blocks completed for my RSC quilt.  Here are the first six.

Here are the final four.  I decided to add in a couple gray blocks because my scrap bin is overflowing.

(I used my Chaser pattern as inspiration for these blocks.  Note that the pattern does not have the solid flip corners.  But they are really easy to add!  That is what Scrap Mixology is all about.)

I finally have enough blocks to finish this quilt.  I still need to spend some time moving around the blocks but I hope to sew up this quilt top soon.

I should start thinking about what blocks I am going to make for next year's Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilts.  There are so many on my list!

Those are sure a fun bunch of color! What a great quilt they'll make. We have leaves coming down, so we raked up the yard yesterday and took a load to the recycle center, and by late afternoon the yard was covered again! It will be like that for another month now, I bet. Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!

Wow! What a fun quilt this is! So in love with the little pinwheel playing in this quilt. Great job! I'm ashamed to say that I'm thinking about next year's RSC blocks too. I'm forever living the future, can't stay in the present for long. I'm funny that way. ;^)

Oh, gosh, I just love those Chaser blocks. I think the arrangement of the colored strips in the blocks from light to dark must be what makes it all sparkle and pop. Delightful!

Congrats on finishing up all of the Chaser blocks. They look great. UGH is it really time to start thinking of 2023 RSC blocks? Yep, you are definitely right about that. Hope you share your block once you decide.
