Boy, is my house a scrappy mess. My sewing room reached max capacity, so I moved a sewing machine out to my dining room table. It is now so covered with scraps, I am really unable to get much done.
As you can see, I do have my blue scrap bin out and have been trying to cut pieces for my January RSC blocks. I also have a couple of rail fence stacks waiting to be sewn into quilt tops.
My curious helper even jumped up there to see what the hubbub was about. He took one look at the mess and left the room.
Hopefully next week I will have more to share!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps. Here are the details for linking up:

Your mess is so clean! I can still the table/desk so it doesn't count as a mess, lol. That puppy is too funny. Probably thinking; there are no fun toys here. Why does she spend so much time here? I don't understand hoomans! Haha. Enjoy! ;^)
Well, well I can see beautiful blocks beeing made using all those pretty scraps, Cynthia. Your help picture is too funny.
Have fun.
I too have been struggling with scrap covered flat spaces. It is amazing what a mess it makes to sew those bits. It will happen and your buddy does consider what you are doing boring. . .which is probably good as our dog will sneak a scrap if I've spent too much time in "that room." She carries it around and chews on it. . . then, I'm short a piece for the project. . . .
You will get the mass tamed of that I have no doubt. Looking forward to seeing what all you create!
Organizing and making sense of the scraps usually does make a big mess first! I bet you'll be making amazing things out of those scraps before too long. Artie was probably wondering if there were any treats hiding up there! Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!
It does make a mess to get organized. Come join in on Stashbusters and track your progress this year.
Very cute "helper"! The scraps make such a mess, but in the end they're all neat and ready for the parts department--and future quilts!
Too bad your helper left. You both could have made quick work of the scraps.
Hope you are able to tame the piles this week. Thanks again for hosting the Oh Scrap link up!
I don’t see a mess; I see piles of quilty possibilities! 😉
It’s been a crazy week for me, and I didn’t link up in time (as usual), but wanted to drop by here and share my link/post because I’m doing Chaser blocks for the RSC. xo
