I am doubling up on the finishes today!
First up is the tenth finish using the rail fence blocks.
In my last post regarding these quilts, I shared that someone had included a great light-colored fabric in with their blocks. I used half of the fabric for the horizontal sashing on the first quilt and now the rest has been used as the sashing between these blocks.
I can't believe we are now in double digit finishes with these blocks. And I still have a few more to finish up. I will provide an overview of how many blocks I received and how many quilts were made.
Thanks so much again to those that were able to send in blocks.
The backs for these quilts are getting more involved as I use up more of my stash.
This quilt measures 56 x 68" and used 120 blocks.
I have also started sewing the Covered in Love blocks together for Kat. These are the Tall Nine blocks that I think were made in September 2021.
If you donated to this block drive, it might be hard to remember which blocks you donated!
The big swirl quilting looks great on the gold backing.
(Sorry, I should have taken photos earlier in the day when the lighting was better.)
One down, I think another six to finish!

Nice job Cynthia! A little jellie of your green grass tho', it's still all white here.
Way to go! These are lovely quilts, Cynthia!
Two beautiful finishes! It's awesome how far you were able to stretch the light colored fabric that was sent in with Rail Fence blocks so far.
This is an awesome effort to have so many finishes from this block drive. Thank you Cynthia for your generosity of heart and for the countless people who contributed.
The tall nine blocks made a beautiful quilt!
Both quilts turned out beautifully, Cynthia!! You are right about the Tall 9-Patch blocks... I seriously doubt I would be able to identify the one I sent. No worries! I was just happy that I was able to contribute.
Beautiful.
Beautiful! We often don’t give browns a chance in the limelight. This one is just wonderful!
Hi Cynthia, your quilts are wonderful and will be greatly appreciated.
I'll need to go back and look at my digital photo album to remember what my blocks looked like. Aren't they pretty all together. You did a great job!
