Oh Scrap! : More Strings

The weather has been beautiful here so I have been busy putting in my vegetable garden and cleaning up my flower beds.  Not a lot of new scrap sewing going on.

I did get six more 10" string blocks sewn from the patriotic scraps.  I haven't counted how many I have done but I am sure I have over 30 completed.  I will probably be finishing all the blocks needed around the time I finish sewing up all the Churn Dash blocks.

Hope all of you are enjoying your Spring!

String blocks are so useful and cute, Cynthia! Great patriotic quilt! Spring has just barely arrived here. It's still a bit chilly for gardening. Glad for the daffodils that are blooming!

When you only have a little time for sewing, string blocks are the perfect thing! Hopefully those will be useful to mix up with the churn dash blocks. Happy gardening time!

I imagine that today you will be adding to your string blocks since it is misting out. The last few days were gorgeous and great days to be out in the yard playing in the dirt! Love the blocks you shared!!!
