Oh Scrap! : Nothing Much to Share

Most of this week's sewing was spent on finishing the blue scrappy quilt I shared Friday.  Other than that, there really hasn't been much progress made on anything else.

I did decide what to do with the stack of older fabrics I found.

I am going to make these blocks - alternating two different fabrics.  The strips are all varying sizes to the lengths of the blocks will all be different.  We shall see how they all work together.

I have cut all the pieces for a number of blocks, and I just need to find some time to sit and sew.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!

  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Off to a great start turning the older fabrics into a pretty newer quilt. Have a great Sunday.

I like those! A friend gave me a kit that she decided not to make, and it has tons of two inch strips. They would be perfect for making blocks like those! Great for leader/ender blocks, too, since they wouldn't require much prep time. Thanks for the idea! Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!
