I found myself with some free time this afternoon so I thought I would spend it starting a new quilt!
It has been quite some time since I have sewn on a Scrap-A-Palooza quilt but many ideas have been floating around in my head. As with many quilts, inspiration comes when I have to deal with finding a home for some fabric.
I am just about finished sewing up the top for my Park Bench quilt so I have gathered up all the odd shaped low volume scraps left over from the project. Almost everything is cut at an angle on the quilt so the bits are not useful in a lot of my scrap quilts.
And speaking of triangles, I also thought I would start in my red scrap bin and pull out some of my odd shaped scraps form there too.
So with camera in hand for capturing the process, I am off to sew all these odd shaped bits into some fun blocks. I should be back in a few days to share what I came up with!
I am currious, what do you end up doing with your odd shaped scraps?
