I have been using my Kaffe Fassett scrap project (my initial post was here) as a Leader/Ender project and I have reached the next step of putting this quilt top together.
I started with these scrap pieces that had been cut to 2.5" x 4.5" and 4.5" squares.
I have been sewing the bits into long strips and placing them up on one of my design walls. Just using my eye to come up with appealing lengths. My next step will be to start cutting the background into long sashing strips and wider strips to even out the top and bottom.
This quilt design is one of my Scrap-A-Palooza quilts.
So you can read more about my next step here.
I really like the warm colors in these scraps.

love the bright colors. You do a better job than I of using up scraps. I really do not feel like I have gotten much done recently but I know I have.
This is going to be a great scrappy quilt. Thanks for the idea!
Those are bright warm colors - perfect for working on at this time of year! What color will the background be?
You've created a pretty effect by cutting all those KF big bold prints into small-ish rectangles. They all play so well together! Great leader/ender project!
Yay! WARM progress on a COLD day is always a good thing!!
It's always a relief when we can use our scraps! I like the idea of sashing and adding strips on the top and bottom of the rows. It's going to be wonderful!
I like it!! it will be SO colorful!!
What a great scrappy inspiration for leaders/enders.
OMG this is simply stunning. My mouth dropped open seeing it. Terrific arrangement and balance, love the idea of background stips, light color I hope as your design wall shows it off.
Wow! Wow wow wow!
And more wow!
(Can you tell I absolutely love it?)

Those Kaffe fabrics are going to produce one WOW quilt! I can’t wait to see it!
Love your Kaffe Fassett scrap project! I'm not a huge fan of his fabrics, but this project just might change my mind...!
What a beautiful finish that will be. So colorful/.
Love your strips. So colorful.
Those colors are so warm and lovely together. Looking forward to seeing the next step in this project!
It always amazes me how the colors can pull very different scraps together and make it look planned. Love the colors. Looking forward to seeing what background color you pick to go with these strips.
Excellent scrappy goodness, especially with all the KF scraps, I think I may have enough of his and PJ scraps to make one of these - or hundreds!!!!
Love those Kaffe fabrics and can't wait to see more!
