Did you know that this Saturday is National Sew a Jelly Roll Day?
I have not sewn too many quilts using a Jelly Roll but I know it is a favorite pre-cut for many people. The quilt above is from my Life is a Highway quilt pattern.
The Fat Quarter Shop is celebrating early with a five day sale on a number of their Jelly Rolls and other 2.5" Strip Sets.
And here is a link to a number of quilt patterns and videos from the FQS archives for the jellyroll precut.
I just thought you might like to know!

I love that you shared the link to the FQS sale on jelly rolls, but I will NOT purchase another one. I shall resist the temptation. Instead, I will dig into my own box of random 2.5" strips cut from previous quilt backings, etc. and assemble enough strips to make one of these to donate as a hospice comfort quilt. Thanks for the heads up - I had NO idea there was a national day for jelly rolls.
I really like your pattern for jelly rolls or strips - breaking up the lines the way you did is intriguing. I'll bet this pattern works up quickly. Thanks for sharing again!
I love this pattern, it's great for the jelly rolls accumulated and for the 2.5" strips you can make from your own stash. I ordered your pattern from Craftsy and can't wait to make a quilt--so many possibilities.
A few years ago on a shop hop they gave us strips at the various shops that if we got to all the shops we'd have a jelly roll. I've decided to make a 16-patch quilt with mine. Precuts are not normally my thing. But these are batiks, so of course I love them. I need to start sewing!
I am avoiding the sales, but am making a simple quilt using a jelly roll today.
