Finally, it appears the quilt pipeline is filled, and lovely finishes are getting completed at a wonderful rate. Here are a few from earlier this week.
We received a LOT of lovely green Jewel Box blocks. We still have hundreds of blocks to work thru and turn into quilts. This is the 13th quilt made from that block drive.
(Sorry about the shadowing on all of these quilts. The sun was just going down and I worried it was going to rain the next day.)
We also finished the Veteran quilt made from a bunch of orphan blocks. We have a bolt of this camouflage print so it was an easy choice for the back of this quilt.
At our next board meeting we are going to discuss adding another organization to our recipient list. We are hoping to add something that serves Veterans. So, I have been pushing a number of RWB quilts into production. It might take a couple months to work all the bugs out but I want to be ready for any combination of quilts the organization requests.
This quilt top was made and donated by Mina.
This lovely quilt was made using the scrappy slab blocks that Marci sends us. I pulled a dark navy to use as the sashing. Local sewing elf Karen sewed this one up for us. I think I have another kit for these slab blocks ready to be sewn. I found a rich emerald green solid we are hoping to use.
I picked up a few quilts from our longarm quilters so I am sure there will be more to share soon. I am so pleased that there is now such a nice variety of quilts being completed and donated. I have so many of you to thanks for that!

Oh, the setting for Mina's blocks -- great idea!
It is so amazing how quickly--although it probably doesn't feel that way to you--that your non profit organization was born and now is fulfilling so many other organizations' needs for comfort in the form of quilts! What a journey you have had! Thank you for sharing the beautiful quilts today!
Fantastic quilt show! I really like that Jewel Box layout and what you've done with those slab blocks. Coincidentally I've been working on a similar basket weave with crumbs and a wider black sashing.
A wonderfully bright and fun parade of quilts. Hopefully you can keep up the momentum until summer vacations start pulling people off line.
