When I was recently digging through a bag of scraps and yardage. I noticed I was seeing quite a few unused charm squares from the Java collection by Deb Strain. I knew I had a few pieces of the same line leftover from a recent string quilt so I decided to cut a few more charms and make another Charm Pack Cherry quilt.
If you recall, I made one back in June 2014 using the Twenty Three collection by Moda....
and one in November using LOL fabrics by Me and My Sister. I never quite seem to make the layouts the same but it really is a fun pattern that is quick to put together.
I had a rich chocolate brown cross weave languishing in my stash that I knew would look wonderful with this fabric. It feels so wonderful to get these older fabrics into finished quilts.
For the quilting, I decided to continue with the coffee theme. I had purchased the panto Coffee Time at the request from a client so it was great to get it out and use it again.
Even the back is fun with three fabrics and all that fun quilting. This quilt is already listed in my Etsy shop if anyone has a coffee lover who needs it!
In an effort to motivate me to finish some projects hanging around my sewing room, I made finishing this quilt my August goal for ALYoF with Sew BitterSweet Designs. Yay for finished quilts!
You can find the free Charm Pack Cherry pattern here. It just needs two charm packs of a print and two from a solid. Pssst: Check out the sale this weekend at Craftsy. I saw some great deals on precuts and solids.

All three quilts are beautiful and perfect for using some of the charm packs I have sitting around!
Congrats on using up fabric and making such a fun quilt. It turned out great!
Love the brown fabric and coffee theme, and I really love the back. Nice finish!
I am loving that chocolate. I'll have to try this charm pack cherry pattern, looks fun and easy. The gray and white look nice also.
I love, love, love the brown! What a fabulous choice to go with all the other beautiful prints.
All of these turned out great.
I love the ease of this quilt pattern and have used many many charm pack left overs to blend with scraps of others. So fun to do. Yes, the pattern sometimes gets accidentally rearranged and still looks great
I love these
Thank you for the link. That is just an easy, wonderful pattern! I'm going to look out some charm packs and buy some yardage to match, I think.
Must be good to have that finished! I love getting scraps out of the way so this seems like a double win!

Super quilts, well done on finishing them
How cute! I just love that coffee quilting.
This pattern fits my criteria of easy and using precuts, so I watched the video as you suggested. I'm definitely going to use it. Your Java version is yummy. I lived in the Seattle area with a latte stand on every corner, and my son had one for seven years. It brings back memories. The other versions are great too, so light and airy. You did good!
i love the CPC design (still haven't quilted mine yet) and the coffee motif works so well. A really lovely result!
I like how it turned out and that pattern is great for using up scrap charms.
They are all so lovely! Great job!
This pattern is addictive! I've made two so far and I'm constantly thinking about making more! Lovely work... though bigger blog pics would show it off even better. :)
