I thought I would have more quilts to share today but I ran out of prepared quilt labels.
I will have lots more to share once I get them labeled!
You might feel like you have already seen this little quilt. I did share its twin a few weeks ago. I received two of these happy quilt tops from Kristin. She also sent in this lovely pink butterfly flannel backing.
Yes, we STILL have some Happy Blocks to work through. This one is all about bugs and crawly things. I had this really thick gray fleece, and I wanted to use it up. The quilt is kind of narrow and long but I was limited by the size of the fleece. A woman in my Tai Chi class bought this a long time ago to make a clothing item I think. She was happy to get it out of her house!
This will be the 96th quilt we made from this block drive!
I wish I could get to all things shortly after they arrive but that is just not the case. Sometimes things sit around waiting for their turn. Someone sent these flannel squares a long time ago. I did get a similar one done a few months ago. The squares were already cut, they just needed to be sewn into a quilt top.
We were able to back this quilt with one of the soft flannels Kristin donated.
All three of these quilts will be delivered to a kid's charity at the end of November - hopefully with about 30 more. All of my elves are working hard to make the delivery numbers!

I did want to let you all know for some reason my comment emails are all coming through as "no Reply. Many of you I know your email address so I can still respond. But there are a few I have not been able to reply. If anyone else as experienced this and can give me some guidance on how to fix it, I would appreciate it!
It is always something!!!

Such sweet quilts! I'm finally quilting the one I want to send you, and it may be similar in size to some of these - about 42 x 54. Hope that is useful! I have seen many bloggers say they're having that same issue with the comments, so I think it's something Blogger did, not you. One blogger even sent me a screenshot of how my comment came in showing "no reply." I googled how to fix that and checked all my settings, and it should be fine. But not sure it changed anything on your end.
Very cute quilts for kids. Hopefully you'll meet all your targets before delivery date. I'm having the same problems with comments and I know of several others that are as well. I've not found a solution. When I last checked, there was nothing on the Blogger tech support page about the issue. I should check again.
I noticed that my replies were going through as no reply, and so I logged out and logged back in to see if it would help. I'm sorry that is happening and that I don't have any better ideas for you right now. It's fun to still see the Happy Block quilts coming together, and running out of labels sounds like a good (you've clearly been quite productive!) problem to have.
Hi Cynthia, do you have favorite brands of economical quilt batting for charity quilts? I make lots of frankenbatts from scraps (mostly for smaller quilts) but also make twin sized and need to re-stock my batting supply. If my gmail email doesn't show you can reach me at quiltingcottage at yahoo.com. Thanks, Sally
I have no idea about the "no reply." I think you fall into that category with my posts. It is always something regarding technology!!!!!!!! (sometimes it is in a good way.) Your small finishes are terrific. I like the tall skinny one best!
Beautiful quilts, all for great causes, 96, wow! Always an inspiration here down under, thank you.
What a great group of quilts you've shared. I like the idea of offsetting the happy blocks. I make lots HB quilts but have never thought to offset them as you did. Great idea. I think I'll try it with my next set of blocks. I'm not having the same issue of no reply quilters right now. (Doesn't mean it won't happen tomorrow or whenever.) However I can always click on a commenter's name and it opens up their Blogger User Profile which generally lists their blog and an email. When I get swamped and don't spend a lot of time checking other blogs, I often will go to my commenter's blogs just to see what they are up to. It's not as good as being able to reply to their comments but it is one way of keeping in touch.
I vote for the top quilt in kid’s colors and happy fussy cut blocks as a drive sometime.
Apparently most of our blogs are getting "no reply" comments. Very frustrating! ...... 96 Happy Blocks quilts -- certainly cause for happiness! (Especially how relieved you'll be when they are ALL finished and given away.)
The 96th Happy Block quilt?!?! That is incredible, Cynthia!!!
