Hey, I finally found a bit of time to write up a blog post with some of our finishes. We are all preparing for an ice storm that is supposed to hit tonight. Hopefully it will be a short hindrance and temps warm up quickly. I just hope we don't lose power.
First up is this fun quilt top sent in by Kristin. Did you notice some of the blocks are made with smaller bits? that is a great way to make enough blocks when you are short some. Kristin also sent in this soft blue print for the back. It really shows off Laura's lovely quilting!
Penny dropped off this fun Split 4-Patch quilt top she made. Penny is actually the Board President of Many Hands and Many Hearts. You will probably get to know her more in the near future. I sent this one out to local quilter Terry. She did a great job on the quilting.
Penny also put together this fun sampler quilt top. She has been making quilt tops from her leftovers - she is in a brown phase right now.
Kristin sent in this bright scrappy quilt top. I should make a bunch of these blocks as a leader ender project. It might burn up a few scraps. Kristin also sent us this fun ladybug backing. Local quilter Laura quilted it up and finished off the binding.
The quilts continue to get smaller. Kristin also sent in this fun quilt top and backing. It is just a four patch with a half frame in a solid. These blocks sure make a fun quilt. A fun dog print for the backing!
I am loving this little scrappy quilt top Denice sent in. (At least I hope it was Denice - it didn't have a tag and I am going by memory.) We sewed together some leftover prints for the backing on this one. It is actually getting delivered next week when one of our board members tours one of the organizations we deliver to. They love little quilts like this one so we will be sending a small stack.
That is all I have photographed right now. My car is loaded up with 25 quilts that are supposed to get delivered to the hospital tomorrow, but I think we are going to have to delay that. I barely drive in the rain anymore - let alone ice or snow.
Stay tuned for more finishes soon.

Beautiful finishes. . .all of them! I too was drawn to the bright one that could work well as a leader/ender!!!
Lovely, lovely quilts in this parade. I found a few inspiration also, as always. We are stuck in the snow this morning. Take care. ;^)
A really great batch of quilts.
Amazing!!! I was wondering if you like having little quilts. It's nice that you can utilize these smaller beauties.
I hope you stayed safe and warm with the snow and ice. The quilts look fantastic!
So many fun quilts! Hope the ice storm was mild and very short.
