I am sure some of you have been wondering where I have been all week. First, I had a bad cold. Then, there was a Board Meeting that required a bunch of my time both before and after the meeting. I have also added some longarm quilters. That always takes a lot of my time to get them quilt tops and set them up as a volunteer. Time just really seems to fly lately!
I did find some time to sew a few more zipper blocks. This quilt is really struggling to come together. But I am not giving up! Holly says I just need to sash it. That is definitely an option.
I think I now have about 25 blocks. Maybe this week I can find some time to play with them and see what I can come up with. It definitely needs some help!
What scrappy things did you work on this week?
*********************************************
It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps. Here are the details for linking up:
- This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
- You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
- If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
- If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
- This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
- Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

I'm sorry to hear you've been sick, Cyndy - hope you're feeling better today. Sounds like it was a busy week anyway! Little by little, you'll figure out what will work for your zipper blocks!
Made my first zipper block! Thought it would be a piece of cake but it's wonky.
Your zipper blocks are coming together so nicely!! I made some of those once and felt like they didn't do much until I put them all together--then they looked fine--hang in there...hugs, Julierose
Having a cold and a busy schedule is no fun at all. Hope you are feeling much better this week.
Glad you're feeling better! Good luck with the zipper blocks, I'm sure you'll think of something great.
Glad you are feeling better. A nasty cold bug has been going around. I'm sorry that it nailed you. Good to see you are feeling well enough to stitch again.
Sorry about the cold! But happy that you have more longarmers to help with the quilting!
