Oh Scrap! : Outdoors Calls

I am pretty embarrassed at how little sewing I did this last week.

This is all I have to show for it.  A few almost completed segments of my paper-pieced letter B and some HSTs for one of my RSC projects.

But the weather has been nice so I spent the week in my gardens.  The veggie garden is now all planted and I have already been harvesting/eating some of my previously planted foods.

I even canned my first batch of pickled radishes...Yum!

I sure hope some of you have more to share!

*********************************************

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Oh Cynthia, I feel like that. Not just this week bu the whole month. I am really behind in my RSC blocks. Hope the extra day this weekend will help me catch up. Don't want May to bleed into June. YIKES!!! I too am enjoying the nice weather because once it gets hot, it will be horrible :-(

You're already harvesting! That's amazing - enjoy! Those scraps will still be there when it's a rainy day. Have a great Sunday!

It's great to spend time in the garden, especially if there is food involved! Summer is too short to spend it all indoors. I played outside this week but a mini heat wave will keep me inside for the rest of the week. :-) Take care.

Enjoy the garden. There will be plenty of time for stitching on a rainy day! Your pickled radishes sound interesting.
