Share Your Favorites

It has been great to see so many new quilters link up their blogs every Sunday here at Oh Scrap!.

I find I just don't have the time to spend on the computer looking for new blogs to follow.  It has been nice that I am finding new quilters to follow every Sunday.  So that has gotten me thinking that I am probably not the only person in this position.

So I thought maybe you would share some of your favorites too!

(I thought I would just upload a teaser photo of my progress on my gray 16 patches so there would be a photo on this post.  I am almost finished with the top so stay tuned!)

So feel free to share any new favorite blog or a new link up you have discovered.  Maybe it is someone you have recently found or you are a longtime fan.  Just let everyone know in the comments and if you can share a link, that would be even better!

While it is hard for me to pick a favorite, there are a couple blogs that I drop everything I am doing every time they post something new.  I don't think either of them sleep and they both inspire me greatly.  Hopefully you are already following them!

A new favorite I found is Websterquilt at https://www.websterquilt.com Her machine quilting is just gorgeous!! Connecting Threads got my order this morning!! I couldn't resist ordering some Chambray in a dark navy. I am thinking to use it was a foil for a scrappy quilt. But that's just the initial idea. Who knows what I will end up doing with it!

You are one of the bloggers whose posts I never want to miss! But I do follow Jayne and Cathy, too. I want to make everything you three make, lol! I enjoy Karen's blog at Karen Quilts, etc, also Patty at Elm Street Quilts, and Kathy's Quilts, who hosts the Slow Sunday Stitching link up. Looking forward to seeing where those gray scraps are headed!

Oh my goodness! Thank you very much. I'm blushing. I don't really have favorites and am not on social media much. I go visit a lot of different blogs a couple of times a week and from there I see links and go visit blogs and from there I see links and go visit there. Some blogs inspire, some blogs teach, some show me new color combos to try, some show book recommendations, some show new FMQ ideas, some show ways to use scraps, some are just learning and need encouragement.

I must say that Quilting BLOGS are my favorites because I'm not a social media nut - I don't do facebook or instagram. And the reason I like blogs is because I've "met" and learned about a lot of folks and their processes and styles. I'd call them friends.

Thanks again for the shout out, friend!!!

Many of my favorites have already been mentioned, one of mine that hasn't been mentioned is Vroomans Quilts. It's amazing what she can do with a bag of scraps.

I'm a fan of Cathy L's Sane Crazy (etc.), too.
Other blogs I follow: Barb Vedder -- Fun with Barb; Zippy Quilts; Libby's Life on the Hill; Fret Not Yourself. I appreciate your weekly link up to see what other quiltmakers are doing.
