Most of my week was spent finishing up my Improv Garden quilt so I didn't make much progress on other scrap quilts.
I did pull some purple scraps and work on another "donut" for the quilt I am making from the book "No Scrap Left Behind". In fact, I think this is the last color I need for that quilt so you just might see a finish in a few weeks. I just need to decide on a background color and sew all the blocks together.
Some of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects already have enough blue blocks so I won't be sewing any blocks this month. Here is the current status of my color block quilt. It has both blue and turquoise blocks already so I will just have to wait to see what color is called next month.
My RSC project wall definitely needs more variety in color. I have been playing around with some layouts but there just isn't that much there to do anything with.
I am going to have to come up with some other scrap projects to play with the rest of the month.
I am pretty sure I can come up with something!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps. Here are the details for linking up:
- This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
- You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
- If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
- If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
- This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
- Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

doing all the squares together really uses up a little bit of the fabric doesn't it - I'm glad I decided to do the 36 patch blocks back in January or so when I started mine
PLENTY of scrappy goodness on your design wall, Cynthia!! I'll be back to join your link party in a little while. Just need to put the finishing touches on my post...
Your color block quilt is great already. Which color are you missing? ;^)
That purple block looks like a gemstone! Everything is so colorful, can't wait to see where they are going with layouts.
I always enjoy seeing what's on your design wall! I'm interested to see your layout for the color block quilt, since I've been playing with those, too. I definitely don't have enough of those for anything yet, though.
The day you can't come up with a few new scrap projects will be the day I quit quilting! It'll never happen so I don't have to worry!
I enjoy seeing the progress on your various projects. I've been struggling lately with getting things done. Too many ideas to start and lack of motivation to finish on others. Maybe making several different blocks over time like you do with the scrappy challenges is a good approach.
When I saw your purple donut block I realized I'd seen a whole quilt with that block very recently. I checked out "No Scraps Left Behind" from the library just yesterday.
Those RSC projects are all lovely! Doesn't it ever annoy you, if whoever is in charge of deciding the colors for each month picks a color you don't feel like working with? Like what if they say it's green and you would rather work with any other color EXCEPT green?
What a line up on your design wall!! The purple donut is yummy, so you're going for four finishes for RSC2019?
Lots of pretty scraps just waiting to be finished projects. The color block quilt is going to be a really fun finish.
You always have the best design walls! The donut quilt will be awesome!
With three (or more) scrap projects in the works, it doesn't look like a slow week at all!
I think that's the first I've seen of your "donuts" and I really like it. Looking forward to seeing the finish soon!
Not much done? haha
Looks like you do your link party on Saturday so I will make a note to come back and link up as I started a quilt with 2 1/2 strips that I "won" at a retreat playing left center right.
