There are still a number of Happy Blocks to assemble into quilts so I spent some time one afternoon to make some quilt tops from them.
First up is this cute infant or toddler quilt made from baby-ish prints.
This one measures 40 x 40".
I had this adorable backing that fit the quilt nicely. It has a very fun vintage feel.
This is Happy Quilt #79.
Quilt #80 is this cute cowboy/cowgirl themed quilt.
Wendy sent in this adorable cowboy boot print. This quilt is also 40" square.
For Quilt #81, I used some precut squares I received as alternate blocks.. The fireman and emergency vehicle themed print worked perfectly on this quilt.
This red emergency vehicle back from Debby was an easy choice. Then local quilter Cindy did a great job finishing this cute quilt up.
Next up is a butterfly themed quilt. Quilt #82 is a bit larger measuring 48 x 56".
It is hard to see but this is a purple and white woven fabric (sent in by Karen) that has tiny purple butterflies on it. I had to add a tiny bit to the top to make the piece big enough.
If you are wondering if we are getting to the bottom of the Happy Blocks - Nope!
I projected we would make about 103 quilts so there are many more to go!
I will have more finishes to share this Friday. We are now finishing slightly over 1 quilt per day!
I appreciate all the support I am getting in this project 💖

I can only imagine the sad circumstances that some of these quilts may be intended for. They are all so cheerful and lovely and I just hope they bring some solace and joy.
Those happy blocks do make some very cheerful quilts!
When I saw how many happy blocks you were receiving (way back when), I opted to give my big stack of blocks to a new teen quilter in our Devo sewing group. She has made additional blocks and is well on her way to a finished top which will likely go into our collection of encouragement quilts to donate locally.
Those are great - I am so *Happy* you got to use the fun colors!
Those happy blocks make into such happy quilts! Love the fire engine backing and the butterfly theme quilt.
I love that you have received such fun pairing prints that create these fun themed versions of the happy quilts - the fireman and emergency vehicle themed one especially speaks to me right now (maybe because of the helibase that is set up just outside my window to fight fires around California).
I just love the color combinations on your website/block drives... The Happy Blocks make me grin ear to ear; also quilts from the (parallel) strips, and curved log cabin drives! I sent your name and website url to a non-sewing friend because she lives in your town. We were finally able to visit there last week, and catch up on each other's ministries.
So glad that you share your quilty processes through a website, and now a non-profit. I am sure you are multiplying the number of sewing/fabric enthusiasts.
