I am trying to keep up with the scraps from the RWB Veteran quilts. I decided I had a bit of time so I sewed up a dozen more blocks.
I am trimming these to 10.5" square. I will just make as many as I can!
A few people have included a few string blocks in their packages - here are two that I got from Holly. They will go into the pile and hopefully result in a quilt top soon.
What scrappy projects have you been working on?

These are just great blocks, Cyndy! I like the combination of red, blue, and some cream ot beige, too. I never got a chance to leave a comment on your post about the first Two Step quilt, but I love the look of those blocks, too. Simple, but so effective. I'm digging around for some fall colored fabrics this afternoon!
I'm making string blocks this week, too! Yours are inspiring, especially the red white and blue ones.
Awesome string blocks, Cynthia!
What a great way to use up those strings. Hope you have lots of time to play with scraps this week.
I am working on string blocks this week too. I gifted a rainbow string quilt and need another of the same for a wedding quilt! My DIL picked it for her cousin and a young friend of mine who is starting a life adventure ( new relationship, off to a new job in a new country) , fell in love with it!
Now it is time to make another one! Good scrap burner too. Happy stitching.
Hi Cynthia, those are going to look great!
