Finishes Galore

Oh My Goodness - I have lots of finishes for you today!

This first one is another Happy Block Quilt.  This one was not made from the block drive - this quilt top was sent in by Mari.  The little woodland animals in the centers are adorable.

Thanks to Deana, we had the perfect flannel for the back - more woodland animals!

This one measures 32 x 40".

The blocks for this space themed quilt did come from the block drive.

Both of these fabrics for the back were given to me by my friend Julie a long time ago.  It was nice to be able to use them finally.

This quilt measures 48" x 56".

This cat themed quilt is the 93rd quilt made from the block drive.

Penny donated this fun cat print for the back.

This quilt measures 56 x 64".

This super cute little quilt top came from my friend Chris.  She sent about eight quilt tops that were all the same size in similar prints.

I was able to load up this 6 yard orange print (gifted by Suzanne) onto my longarm and quilt six of them one right after the other.

All of these little quilts measure about 40" square.
This is just the first one to have the binding complete.

This quilt top was made by my friend Penny.  (She has been so helpful in turning Many hands and Many Hearts into a charity. I will give you guys a status soon.  It is a LOT of work!)

Yes, these are Tula Pink fabrics.

She also supplied a Tula Pink print for the backing.

This quilt measures 60 x 68".

With the help of some local quilters, we are slowly getting more of the gifted quilt tops finished.  Becky sent in this fun one.  She also made a smaller version which is waiting to be quilted.

I picked this dark teal green for the backing.  And local quilter Terry quilted in some lovely big clam shells.  The quilting really shows up on the back.

My friend Billy had this kit in her stash and knew she was never going to finish it.  She asked me to get it done and donate it.  Well, Penny pieced it for me, Kelly quilted it and then it went back to Penny for the binding.

Billie also pulled a large cut from her stash for the back.  Penny added in the lovely hydrangeas.  This really is a lovely quilt!

It measures about 60 x 75:

What can be made from a handful of orphan blocks?  Jeanne made this lovely orange and green quilt.

This backing print has been used a few times now.  This is the last little bit but it fit perfectly for this quilt.  Local quilter Laura did a great job with the quilting.

This quilt measures 40 x 52".

Here is another quilt top sent in by Becky.  So sorry it has taken so long to finish these up.

Dorothy sent in this yellow and blue print that was used for the back.  And Laura did her quilting magic.

Plus she sewed on the binding - that earns her extra points! (Extra points for Becky too because she sent in the prepared binding with the quilt top.)

I think this one measures about 50 x 70".

As you can see, quilts are really starting to flow.  We will surpass the quilt a day milestone in August - I don't see it slowing down too much as people take vacations.  We are getting more and more volunteers every week!

Next week the next block drive will be announced.  I finally pulled some scraps to make some sample blocks so I hope to work on them tomorrow.  I think many of you will really like this block!

Have a great weekend!

Oh, what a wonderful array! Your photos catch the quilting clearly, which is so helpful. Have you used all the Happy Blocks from the drive?
